Jasmine Chung Hao


Jasmine Chun Hao green tea was initially reserved only for the Chinese Emperor’s Imperial Court. The sweet smelling jasmine flowers are picked fresh in the morning and kept cool until the evening, it is then the flowers start to open; the opened buds are placed next to the tea in very precise proportions. It takes up to four hours for the tea to absorb the jasmine scent and this is then repeated seven times over a month. The tea then holds the flavour and scent of the jasmine. This is a real speciality!
